Properties:
LORIFOL AFF 60 is a highly effective fatliquor for the production of light, fluffy clothing and softy leathers.
LORIFOL AFF 60 can be used to good effect in the fatliquoring of bovine and ovine clothing leathers, where it will confer outstanding softness and handle coupled with the ability to produce an extremely smooth creamy grain.

Application:

LORIFOL AFF 80 should be prepared for use by adding it to a minimum of five times its own volume of water at 50 °C whilst stirring.

When used in the initial stages of washing and neutralising LORIFOL AFF 60 will assist greatly in rehydrating the wet blue leather thus making it more receptive to subsequent retannage.

LORIFOL AFF 60 can be used together with other anionic fatliquors or water insoluble oils where it will assist in stabilising the emulsion formed.

Safety and storage:
When handling LORIFOL AFF 60 , normal safety precautions associated with the handling of chemicals should be observed. For more specific details please refer to our safety data sheets.
LORIFOL AFF 60 can be stored for up to 18 months, if temperatures below 5 °C and above  40 °C can be avoided. On prolonged storage or extremes of temperature LORIFOL AFF 60 may exhibit some settlement which can be rectified by either warming and/or stirring the product thoroughly before use.
